| MCCS hosts several activities for students to look forward to annually. Classes participate in performing at the Chinese New Year Spring Performance. Students also anticipate at the annual School Carnival. Games, food, and prizes are something the children look forward to. A Penmanship contest is also organized for students to participate from all grades to encourage good handwriting skills for chinese characters. MCCS also participated at the Moon Festival at Cupertino Memorial Park in September 17 & 18, 2005 with other educational organizations in the South Bay Area. MCCS was among the best school in Children Village. We were interviewed by the New Tang Dynasty Television, a new Satellite TV Channel. Pictures of the festival will be available soon at the Photo Gallery. MCCS encourage all our students to participate in the SFI Chinese Essay Contest. The top winner can earn $5000. Last day to register for this event is September 30, 2005. ANCCS Cultural Contest at Palo Alto Chinese School on April 1, 2007. ANCCS Kite Contest at Baylands Park, Sunnyvale. This contest includes kite-flying, kite drawing, tug-o-war, relay race and a lot more fun. ANCCS would like to invite MCCS the whole school to join for a whole-day of fun. This is also a fundraising activity for Chinese schools including MCCS. BioScience Careers in the 21st Century This seminar is held by CBA(Chinese BioScience Association). CBA is a non-profit and non-political organization with members and professionals in both biotech and biopharmaceutical industries in the San Francisco Bay Area. The seminar is open for all students, parents, and teachers who would like to know more about the BioScience Careers in the coming years.
